Student Summer Program 2024 – Part 1

The first half of the week of our Student Summer Program 2024 was packed full! The students got involved in so many activities, including:

🇲🇽 Enjoyed an info-packed, guided tour of the ancient city of Teotihuacán.

🌊 Learned about the importance of the fascinating Canal Nacional, and the great work being done to protect it.

🌧️ Seen the Isla Urbana rainwater harvesting system in action at the Chalchiuhtlicue rain school.

☔️ Visited Quiltipec, learning about eco-technology and IslaUrbana’s project there.

🚤 Floated through the intricate canal network of Xochimilco on colorful barges.

💧 Spent time with the incredible @santuarioajolote , who talked us through the importance of water management and protecting the ajolote population here.

🌮Eaten delicious local produce, Mexican delights, and even made our own salsa.

A packed schedule, an awesome group, and some incredible teachers.
